Josh: There Are Always Going to Be Mistakes
Josh Altman

Josh Altman explains why this season was different for him.

Wow, what a season! I have now been on the show for four years! I love and appreciate all of our fans who have shown us support over the years. It has been an incredible experience! The new people I meet everyday because of MDLLA and the opportunities that come to be are amazing. I just hope everyone has as much fun doing what they love for a living as I do.

This season in particular for me was different in a way as you get to see more of my personal life with Heather and Matt and the struggles of a workaholic. In life, both business and pleasure, there are always going to be mistakes made, and you can tell a lot by the way a person bounces back and learns from those experiences. On one hand, my career is at an all-time high and continues to grow. Matt and I, The Altman Brothers, sold about $300 million in real estate so far, which once again puts us in the top 25 in the country and once again the only MDLLA realtor to even make the top 200 real estate agents in the U.S. I also signed the biggest listing of my career so far for $100 million -- a trophy property by the beach. But on the other hand, my personal life hit rock bottom as the overwhelming and demanding amount of work, pressure, deals, and business took over my life and away from what I now realize is my real true love in life, Heather. I made mistakes this year and as much as I'd like to take them back, I wouldn't, because it took me almost losing Heather to realize that the reason I work so hard is to provide for us -- Heather, myself, and our future children -- and obviously I love the thrill of a deal. This chapter of our relationship, surprisingly, brought us closer than ever and made us each appreciate one another even more. We are in a much better place and can't wait to take our relationship to the next step.

This year was amazing, and I had the pleasure of representing clients that I admire and look up to like Daymond John and Alec Monopoly and working with agents like "The Godfather" Steve Levine. Thank you to all my clients and friends who have put their trust in me and agreed to share a moment of their life on MDLLA. If it wasn't for our clients who agree to ride this roller coaster with us, MDLLA would not happen. And thank you to the viewers and fans who allow me share my passion and love for real estate. I love being able to share my strategies and expertise in business, as well as my learning experiences with you all so that we all can become a better and more successful version of ourselves.

Next year is going to be bigger and better! Josh Altman and The Altman Brothers are rolling out with big and exciting news, and we can't wait to share it with you all. Stay tuned!
